Mariza Hofer is a multi-faceted independent artist — Brazilian and granddaughter of European Portuguese who travelled to South America in the 40s. She moved to Europe in 2003, where she married a Swiss engineer from a traditional pro-cycling family.
Through his influence, Mariza became a Swiss IFBB athlete champion, certified trainer, and clinical/sports nutrition specialist. She is also a UK-awarded fitness columnist known for her highly scientific newsletters and podcasts covering biohacking, metabolic health, and circadian biology.
Guided by her autism and Savant syndrome, Mariza channels a unique neurodivergent perspective into her creative process — serving as songwriter, producer, and lead vocalist for her own music. Her sound defies boundaries, moving seamlessly from 1960s retro soul-pop and heartfelt folk-pop to dramatic country-rock, pop ballads, and Bossa Nova. Her music is a profound exploration of vulnerability, science, and the modern human story — proving that art and logic belong to the same soul.
